Gary Findlay is a competitive amateur driver; his rating of 2,952 places him at the front of club racing and entry-level professional fields. His single season of racing on record comprises four starts in the 2021 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup with Parker Revs Motorsport, a field dominated by established professionals graded Gold and Platinum by the FIA. Findlay finished twenty-fourth overall across those four rounds, at the bottom of the classified drivers in each appearance.[1]
Findlay faced an exceptionally strong grid in every race. His regular rivals included Larry Ten Voorde, a three-time Supercup champion and FIA Gold driver; Ayhancan Guven, an FIA Platinum professional and 2025 DTM champion; and Laurin Heinrich, the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech GTDPRO champion. Across these four shared races, Findlay finished behind all four of these drivers every time. His sole competitive moment came against Tio Ellinas, an FIA Gold professional, whom he outfinished once across four meetings. He also beat Alessandro Ghiretti, the 2025 Supercup champion, once, though this represented an isolated result rather than a pattern of competitive parity.
Findlay has since retired from racing. His brief campaign in 2021 represents his entire recorded professional activity.
