Lev Fridman is an entry-level professional who raced in single-seater touring cars and endurance sportscar events. His only substantial campaign came in 2007, when he competed in four rounds of the World Touring Car Championship for Russian Bears Motorsport, driving a BMW 320i. He returned a decade later for a single endurance outing in the 24H Series SP2 class.[1]
Fridman finished 23rd in the 2007 WTCC championship standings. His best result in that campaign was a nineteenth-place finish in round three at Zandvoort, his opening event. In his four starts he regularly faced established professionals including Yvan Muller, a four-time WTCC champion, and Alain Menu, each of whom outpaced him consistently. On isolated occasions he finished ahead of stronger drivers; he beat Gabriele Tarquini, the 2009 WTCC champion with 271 starts in the series, once, and Augusto Farfus, a Gold-graded professional with international sportscar credentials, once. His endurance entry came in 2017 with Vortex V8 in a one-off 24H Series race.[2]
