🇬🇧 Josh Skelton

Josh Skelton is a British professional racing driver graded FIA Silver in endurance racing, competing primarily in the LMP3 prototype class. He races for Nielsen Racing in the Le Mans Cup and Road to Le Mans, both international multiclass endurance series, and previously spent two seasons in British single-seater racing.[1]

Skelton's career spanned six seasons from 2018 to 2023. He began in British F4, where he took two wins and fourteen podiums across 53 starts, then moved to GB3 for a single season in 2020, scoring three podiums in twenty-two starts. His focus shifted to endurance racing from 2021 onwards; he contested fifteen starts in the Le Mans Cup, winning twice, and six starts in Road to Le Mans, taking one podium. He appeared once in IMSA WeatherTech in 2021. The teams he drove for in the Le Mans Cup, Nielsen Racing and Racing Spirit of Leman, both won their LMP3 championships during his time with them; he contributed to Racing Spirit of Leman's 2022 title.[2]

In British F4, Skelton raced in a field mixing amateurs and professionals including the future Indy NXT champion and Indy Car driver Louis Foster, against whom he proved closely matched over regular meetings. His endurance racing placed him among established professionals in the LMP3 class, where he occasionally finished ahead of Gold-graded drivers such as the 2022 GB3 champion Luke Browning and the 2022 Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion Tom Dillmann.
