🇦🇺 Bart Horsten

Bart Horsten is a professional driver who raced in two single-seater championships in Britain between 2019 and 2021. He ran 26 rounds in British F4 for Arden in 2019, then spent two seasons in GB3 with Hitech Grand Prix, starting 43 times across 2020 and 2021.[1]

In British F4, Horsten took one win and ten podiums across his 26 starts, finishing among the points scorers in a mixed field of amateur and professional entrants. His move to GB3 saw him compete at the same level against a similar spread of graded professionals and developing drivers. He added six podiums across two seasons and finished seventh in the 2021 championship standings, his final year of indexed racing.[2]

Horsten was a close and regular match for Louis Foster, an established professional who has since gone on to win the Indy Pro 2000 Championship and Indy NXT; the two drivers split decisions against each other across their time in the same races. He finished ahead of Oliver Bearman on two occasions, a driver who has since raced in Formula 2 and Formula 1. His more consistent record came against Roberto Faria, an entry-level professional he typically outpaced across both series.
