Carter Williams is a semi-professional driver who raced in single-seater championships in the United Kingdom and Lamborghini prototype endurance racing in North America. He drove for JHR Developments in British F4 and GB3, and latterly for World Speed in Lamborghini Super Trofeo competition. His FIA Silver grading places him below the full-professional tier in sportscar racing.[1]
Williams' indexed racing career spans 2010 to 2023 across five championships and 59 starts. His most productive season came in British F4 in 2019, where he took three wins and six podiums from 28 starts for JHR Developments, a team that has fielded 37 drivers across the index including established professionals. He stepped up to GB3 the following year with ten starts but took no podiums. A gap of three years preceded his move to prototype endurance racing; he made ten starts in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America ProAm class in 2023, adding two appearances at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final. His earliest racing on record came in SKUSA SuperNationals from 2010 to 2016, a single podium from nine starts.[2]
In British F4 Williams regularly raced against established professionals and entry-level professionals including Josh Skelton, a driver who has since competed in 53 British F4 starts and graduated to GB3 and international sportscar racing.
