Larry Pegram is a semi-professional endurance racing driver competing in national multiclass championships. He has spent most of his recent career in IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he races TCR touring cars for Pegram Racing, a small team fielding entry-level professional drivers as its strongest competition. His 20 starts across three seasons in that series form the core of his racing record, supplemented by occasional entries in American Endurance Racing and International GT competition in production-based and touring machinery.[1]

Pegram's record spans 16 years from his first indexed season in 2010, though with considerable gaps between active campaigns. He finished 18th in Star Mazda Championship points in his most recent full-season effort in 2012, a junior formula where he met drivers who would go on to established professional careers; he has since beaten Ryan Tveter, an established professional with Formula 3 European and GP3 experience, twice across their careers. His two career podiums came in endurance racing, one in American Endurance Racing's Class 1 in 2023 and one in International GT's EXH class in 2025. In IMSA WeatherTech, he took two starts in 2014 alongside more competitive fields but without finishing on the podium.[2]

The drivers Pegram encounters regularly in IMSA Pilot Challenge are entry-level professionals: Karl Wittmer, a FIA Silver-graded driver with 50 starts in the series, and Denis Dupont, the 2025 IMSA Pilot Challenge TCR champion with 56 starts in that class and prior experience in the FIA World Touring Car Cup and GT World Challenge Europe. Pegram consistently finishes behind both. He has also raced against Ho-Pin Tung, an established professional and FIA Gold driver who won the 2018 WEC LMP2 championship; he finished ahead of Tung once across their meetings in multiclass endurance racing.
