Levin Amweg was an entry-level professional racing single-seaters in the Formula Renault Eurocup, a pan-European championship that ran mixed-grade fields of amateurs, semi-professionals and established pros in the same races. He competed for ART Junior Team, one of the series' established operations, across two seasons from 2013 to 2014.[1]
Amweg made 22 starts in the Eurocup across those two years and finished 13th in the 2014 championship standings. The field he raced in included drivers who would reach Formula 1; he finished ahead of George Russell once and Charles Leclerc twice, though both drivers would go on to far higher levels. His regular competitors at the grid were Alexander Albon and Nyck de Vries, both of whom would establish themselves as professionals in international motorsport; Amweg typically finished behind them both.[2]
