Jon Field is a professional driver racing in national solo sprint and endurance series. He competes in the Radical Cup NA PLATINUM class for ONE Motorsports, driving Radical sports prototypes, and races LMP2 prototypes in the IMSA WeatherTech multiclass endurance championship for Intersport Racing, a team he founded. Field is FIA Bronze-graded, placing him among amateur and gentleman drivers in endurance racing rather than the full-professional tier.[1]

Field won the 2024 Radical Cup NA championship with ONE Motorsports, taking 12 wins across 21 starts in that season and finishing on the podium in 16 of them. His racing record spans four seasons from 2023 to present; he began with two starts in SCCA regional and national competition in 2023, moved into Radical Cup NA in 2024, and added IMSA WeatherTech competition in 2025. His early IMSA tenure placed him 57th in the 2025 championship standings across his opening six starts. Field returned to active competition at age 69, having last raced professionally in 2009 in LMP1 endurance racing, where he was American Le Mans Series LMP675 champion in 2002 and a two-time 12 Hours of Sebring class winner.[2]

Field runs fastest against competitive amateurs in the Radical Cup grid; he regularly finishes ahead of Louis Schriber and Wayne Williams, who became the 2025 Radical Cup NA PLATINUM champion. In IMSA, a multiclass field mixing amateurs with graded professionals, Field has beaten drivers of significantly stronger standing: he finished ahead of Kyffin Simpson, an established professional and FIA Gold-graded driver with a Formula Regional Americas championship and extensive single-seater racing, and Tom Dillmann, an FIA Gold professional and three-time champion in Formula V8 3.5, Le Mans Cup LMP3 and IMSA WeatherTech LMP2, though these victories came in isolated encounters rather than over a season.
