Mateusz Kaprzyk is a retired Polish driver who competed in single-seater and sportscar racing between 2020 and 2023. His career record totalled 26 starts across two categories, yielding no wins or podiums. His Racer Rating of 3,404 places him in the semi-professional band; he competed at a level where wins occur in professional-level fields, but he did not achieve them. He held FIA Silver grading, the professional classification for endurance and sportscar racing assigned to young or early-career drivers competing alongside full professionals.[1]
Kaprzyk's racing split between single-seater and endurance machinery. He began with Italian F4 in 2020, running ten rounds for Cram Motorsport and finishing an average of P11.7 across all his classified starts. He then moved to the European Le Mans Series between 2021 and 2023, where he started sixteen races for RLR M Sport. In his shared events against established rivals, the head-to-head records were consistently unfavourable. Against Leonardo Fornaroli and Dino Beganovic, both single-seater champions competing at elite professional standard, he finished ahead in two races each but behind them in eight. He beat semi-professional and silver-graded rivals more selectively; he finished ahead of Sebastian Montoya three times in ten shared races and ahead of Francesco Pizzi once in ten. His single significant result came against Malthe Jakobsen, a three-time champion at Gold grade, whom he beat once.
The calibre and consistency of the fields against which Kaprzyk raced indicated he was outmatched by the stronger competitors present, particularly in endurance racing where he spent most of his active career. He did not progress beyond semi-professional standing or secure a podium finish. He retired from racing after the 2023 ELMS season.
