Matt Isgro is a club-level driver competing in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance championship where production-based cars from multiple classes race together with shared driving duties. He raced in the series across 2018 to 2020, competing in both Class 1 and Class 2.[1]
Over his eight starts, Isgro took one win and two podiums. His most active season came in 2020, when he scored a win and another podium across four rounds before finishing 53rd in the Class 1 championship standings. He was closely matched against Jason Nolan, the 2019 Class 1 champion, and regularly finished ahead of John Ryan Lewis, a club-level regular with more than 90 starts in the series. In single races, Isgro also beat entry-level professionals Christopher Matos and Ashley Freiberg, a FIA Silver-graded driver with experience in Star Mazda Championship and GT4 America.[2]
