🇬🇧 Mike Simpson

Mike Simpson is a semi-professional endurance racing driver who raced GT4 cars across British GT, the 24H Series and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2012 and 2023. His most substantial indexed campaign came in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he finished ninth in the 2013 championship standings after taking two podiums from two rounds in the SP 10 class.[1]

Simpson's career comprised 14 starts across seven seasons. He took four podiums in total, three of them in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2012 and 2013. His most recent indexed racing was in the British GT Championship, fielded by Toro Verde GT from 2021 to 2023 in the GT4 class; his record there places him consistently behind entry-level professionals Jack Brown and Chris Salkeld, both of whom he raced regularly in the series. He finished ahead of Ian James, a WEC and IMSA driver with professional credentials, once across his career, and beat Jann Mardenborough, a professional driver with experience in Super GT and FIA Formula 3 European, on a single occasion.[2]
