🏳️ Patrick Cushenberry

Patrick Cushenberry is a competitive amateur; his Racer Rating of 2,619 places him at the front of club racing, though his career record shows limited competitive activity. Across five starts in the SKUSA SuperNationals between 2006 and 2011, he did not win or podium, finishing an average of 14th. His competitors in that series were drivers of similar standing; against his most frequent rivals Eddie Olpin, Bobby Legate, and Keenan Schmitke, all rated within 150 points of his own level, Cushenberry went 2–4 in head-to-head competition.[1]

The most striking feature of his record is a series of results against drivers substantially more accomplished. In separate races he finished ahead of Memo Gidley, an FIA Bronze graded sportscar driver and 2023 GT America SRO3 champion, as well as professional-level competitors Rodrigo Fonseca, Bryce Miller, and Victor Carbone. These were isolated results rather than a sustained pattern, but they demonstrate Cushenberry's capacity to run competitive in the field. His racing was concentrated in the kart category at the SuperNationals, the marquee national championships in American karting.
