🇺🇸 Raymond Narac

Raymond Narac is a professional endurance racing driver competing in multiclass championships aboard shared GT and GTE cars. FIA Bronze-graded, he raced primarily for IMSA Performance Matmut across a career spanning from 2005 to 2014, with a single outing in the Road to Le Mans and 24H Series in 2017. His most substantial record came in the WEC, where he made 11 starts over three seasons.[1]

Narac took two wins and five podium finishes across 18 career starts in indexed racing. Both victories came in the WEC's LMGTE Am class between 2012 and 2014, the most consistent period of his career. He finished 26th in the WEC championship standings in his final season, 2014. His earlier single-class endurance campaigns in the FIA GT Championship yielded no podiums across four starts. The 2017 appearances in the Road to Le Mans and 24H Series, both in GT3 machinery, produced no further results.[2]

In the WEC, Narac raced regularly against Paolo Ruberti and Christian Ried, both multiple WEC LMGTE Am champions, and held his own in those matchups. He also finished ahead of Robin Frijns, an established professional and Formula Renault Eurocup champion, and Fabrizio Gollin, the 2004 FIA GT Championship champion, on single occasions. These results came in fields that mixed amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals, typical of endurance racing's amateur grades.
