Richard Edge is an entry-level professional racing solo Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars in the Porsche Carrera Cup NA Masters class for ACI Motorsports, where he has spent the majority of his racing career. Graded FIA Bronze, he competes in a national multiclass championship that mixes amateurs with graded professionals. His primary machinery is the 992-generation car, though he also races the previous-generation 991.2 in the PA991 class.[1]

Edge won the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup NA championship with ACI Motorsports, taking five wins and eighteen podiums across forty-four starts in the series. He has also raced in GT4 America's Am class, where he took a win from eight starts in 2023, and competed in PCA Club Racing over multiple seasons with three podiums from eight starts. A single outing in the 24H Series came in 2024 driving a Porsche 992 in a shared-car endurance format. Across all indexed racing he has six wins and twenty-two podiums from sixty-one starts. In the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup NA season, still in progress, he sits fourth in the championship standings with one win and three podiums from eight rounds raced so far.[2]

Edge runs regularly against Scott Blind, an entry-level professional and multiple Porsche championship winner who in 2025 took both the Carrera Cup NA Masters title and the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America; the two are closely matched. He usually finishes behind Marco Cirone, a 2024 PCA Club Racing GTA4 champion and a regular Carrera Cup NA competitor with over fifty starts in the series. Against stronger professional company, Edge has beaten Sergey Sirotkin, an established professional and former Formula 1 driver, and Vlad Lomko, an established professional with European single-seater and endurance racing credentials, once each.
