Sergiu Nicolae is an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance championships. He competes primarily in the 24H Series, where he drives Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and GT3 machinery for MANAMAURI ENERGY BY EBIMOTORS; he has also raced the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, Le Mans Cup and Nürburgring 24 Hours in similar cars. His racing spans seven seasons from 2018 to the present.[1]
Nicolae has taken four wins and eleven podiums across 26 starts. The bulk of this record comes from the 24H Series, where he has won four times and podiumed ten times in eighteen starts since 2018; he added a single podium in three Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie starts in 2022 and 2024, and made his first Le Mans Cup and Road to Le Mans appearances in 2025. He contested the Nürburgring 24 Hours for the first time in 2026.[2]
Nicolae operates in a field mixing amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals. His regular opponents in the 24H Series are Rik Breukers and Ivo Breukers, both entry-level professionals and former 992-class champions, against whom Nicolae runs closely matched.
