Samantha Tan is an entry-level professional driver, graded Bronze under the FIA's endurance driver categorisation, racing mainly in multiclass, pro-am endurance sportscar competition where each car is shared among two or more drivers. She drives for ST Racing, the team she owns with her father Kenneth, most often in GT3 and GT4 machinery, and has also taken drives for Ferrari of Tampa Bay, Team WRT, Bulldog Racing and Car #158.[1]
Her most substantial record is in GT World Challenge America, where she claimed the 2024 championship with ST Racing after two seasons that produced multiple wins and a long run of podium finishes across the GT4 and Pro-Am classes. She has also raced the 24H Series over six years for ST Racing, taking wins and podiums across its GT3, GT3-P/A and GT4 classes, and has won more than once in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie for Car #158, adding a podium at the Nürburgring 24 Hours with Bulldog Racing in 2025. In 2025 she moved into IMSA's VP Racing SportsCar Challenge with ST Racing, taking several podiums, and made two starts in Road to Le Mans for Team WRT. She is now in her first season of IMSA Pilot Challenge with ST Racing by Random Vandals, an ongoing 2026 campaign that has already included a recovery drive to twelfth at Road America.[2]
Tan's most frequent opposition in GT World Challenge America includes Adam Adelson, the Silver-graded 2024 GT World Challenge America Pro champion with extensive starts in IMSA WeatherTech and GT World Challenge America; she usually finishes behind him. Her most notable results against stronger competition include finishing ahead of George Kurtz on multiple occasions, a Bronze-graded champion of the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech LMP2 title, the 2023 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am title and the 2024 Asian Le Mans Series. ST Racing, the team behind most of her starts, has also fielded established professional Neil Verhagen.
