Rob Ferriol is a Bronze-graded amateur competing in national multiclass endurance racing in the United States. He raced primarily in IMSA WeatherTech between 2020 and 2023, piloting a shared GT3 car for NTE Sport LLC, and also made starts in IMSA Pilot Challenge and GT4 America. His career spans six seasons from 2018 to 2023 across 40 starts, with most of his racing, 23 starts, coming through Team Hardpoint.[1]
Ferriol competed in a field mixing amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals. He typically finished behind established competitors such as Bill Auberlen, an entry-level professional with over 140 IMSA starts, and Robby Foley, a Gold-graded professional who won the 2023 IMSA Pilot Challenge GS championship. On occasion he finished ahead of significantly stronger drivers: he beat Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and three-time champion who has raced 86 IndyCar events, three times across their shared IMSA entries, and similarly finished ahead of Chase Briscoe on three occasions despite Briscoe's NASCAR Cup Series background spanning 226 races.[2]
