Tazio Ottis is a semi-professional racing in multiclass endurance and sprint championships across North America and Germany. Graded FIA Silver, he races primarily for JDC Motorsports, competing in touring cars and production machinery; his current activity is a one-off drive in the 2026 Velocity Invitational, where he sits 19th in the championship standings so far.[1]
Ottis has raced for nine seasons, beginning in 2017 with the IMSA Prototype Challenge, where he took eight podiums across 16 starts for Wolf Motorsports in Mazda-powered Elan DP02 prototypes. He then spent several years away from major competition before returning in 2023 to the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie with Walkenhorst Motorsport, racing front-wheel-drive turbocharged production cars. His most significant recent work came in 2024 and 2025 with the IMSA Pilot Challenge, a multiclass touring-car series in which he has scored one podium from four starts; he also took a podium finish at the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours.
