ChampCar Endurance Series is a multi-class endurance racing series featuring six classes of production-based and purpose-built sportscars. The field is composed almost entirely of amateur and developing drivers, with only a handful of graded professionals competing across its roster. Chandler Smith and Ben Keating anchor the top tier, but the series sits solidly at the competitive-amateur level overall. ChampCar functions as a destination and settling point rather than a feeder series; drivers arrive primarily from NASA and SCCA club racing but rarely progress to higher-level competition afterward. Its field is comparable in strength to American Endurance Racing, the series from which many of its competitors arrive, and is stronger than NASA and SCCA Regionals, though considerably weaker than SCCA Runoffs.
