The ChampCar Endurance Series is an endurance racing championship contested in budget production-based cars, with most entries shared between two or more drivers. The field is competitive amateur to semi-professional in standard, stronger than the peer regional and club circuits it draws from including NASA and PCA Club Racing, though slightly weaker than American Endurance Racing, the higher-tier series some of its drivers move up to. Its strongest competitors include Chandler Smith and Ben Keating. The series functions as a stepping stone for drivers transitioning from club and regional racing into organized endurance competition, drawing primarily from NASA, SCCA Regionals, SCCA Runoffs, and PCA Club Racing before moving some onward to American Endurance Racing.
