The Le Mans Cup is an international endurance sports car racing series organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest. It runs three classes: a professional-amateur class in LMP3 prototypes, a GT3 class, and a pure LMP3 prototype class. The field is a mixed group of career endurance drivers holding professional grades and amateurs, with the strongest contenders rated between established professional and entry-level professional. It functions as a mid-tier stepping stone within the endurance ladder. Drivers commonly arrive from the FIA GT Championship and series like the 24H Series, and regularly move on to the European Le Mans Series, WEC, and Asian Le Mans Series; most progression is upward to stronger fields.
