🇬🇧 Esmee Hawkey

Hawkey is an entry-level professional, FIA Silver grade, with 24 starts across four seasons of racing from 2019 to 2023. She raced the W Series in 2019, then moved to single-seater-style competition in the DTM, where she made 15 starts for T3 Motorsport across 2021 and 2022. Her most recent racing came in the British GT Championship in 2023, competing in GT4 cars as part of a shared-driver endurance format for Toro Verde GT.[1]

In the W Series she finished 13th in the final championship standings from five rounds. Her DTM campaign saw her race against a field mixing amateurs with established professionals; she typically finished outside the points but showed progressive pace, notably gaining 19 positions across two races at Lausitzring in May 2022. In British GT she made four starts in the GT4 class.[2]

Hawkey's record places her among semi-professional and amateur drivers in fields that included much stronger competition. She regularly raced against Maximilian Götz and Lucas Auer, both FIA Platinum graded professionals who won major championships; she typically finished behind them. She has twice finished ahead of Nico Müller, an established professional with 81 DTM starts and Formula E experience, and twice ahead of Alexander Albon, who raced 145 Formula 1 grands prix.
