🇬🇧 Esmee Hawkey

Esmee Hawkey is a retired British racing driver who competed at professional and semi-professional level across touring cars, single-seater championships, and GT racing between 2019 and 2023. Categorised as FIA Silver in sportscar and endurance racing, she was a professional-level driver early in her career. Across 24 starts in the DTM, W Series, and British GT Championship, she scored no wins or podiums, finishing on average in 14th place.[1]

Hawkey's most substantial campaign came in the DTM, where she made 15 starts across 2021 and 2022 for T3 Motorsport with Lamborghini machinery. This placed her consistently against full-time touring car professionals including multiple champions; she regularly finished behind Platinum-graded drivers such as Maximilian Götz, Marco Wittmann, Lucas Auer, and Kelvin van der Linde, though she occasionally matched or exceeded other Silver-level competitors. She also contested the 2023 British GT Championship with four starts for Toro Verde GT, competing in a GT3 grid that included established professionals. Her W Series campaign in 2019, where she made five starts and finished 15th in the championship, represented her only single-seater competition on record.

Despite the competitive fields she faced, including isolated results against stronger drivers such as Alexander Albon and Nico Müller, Hawkey did not establish herself as a consistent front-runner in any of her racing categories. She has since retired from active competition.
