Ian Gough is an entry-level professional racing in the British GT Championship, a multiclass endurance series in which drivers share GT4 cars across a national field that mixes amateurs with graded professionals. He raced for Century Motorsport, an established team in the series.[1]
Gough contested two seasons in the championship from 2023 to 2024, taking three wins and five podiums from 18 starts. In his most recent campaign in 2024, he secured one win and two podiums across nine rounds and finished sixth in the championship standings. He holds an FIA Bronze grade, the amateur classification in endurance racing.[2]
His record places him ahead of regular opponents at entry-level and semi-professional standing, including drivers with considerably more experience in the series. He has also finished ahead of established professionals including Tom Ingram, the 2022 and 2025 British Touring Car champion, and Tom Gamble, who has raced in GT World Challenge Europe, IMSA WeatherTech and the World Endurance Championship.
