Junesung Park is an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance events and international single-class touring car competition. He began his indexed career in 2023 with Hyundai Driving Experience, piloting front-wheel-drive turbocharged production cars in the VT2 Front class at the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where shared-drive endurance racing placed his results alongside amateur, semi-professional and graded professionals in the same field. In 2025 he moved to solo sprint racing with Solite Indigo Racing in the TCR World Tour, where he finished 22nd in the season standings across three rounds.[1]
Park has raced seven times across his two indexed seasons. His endurance record included mixed results in Hyundai's shared cars; he typically finished ahead of the semi-professional Tobias Jung, who won the 2025 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie VT2 Front 4WD title, but usually behind Norbert Fischer, an entry-level professional and three-time series champion in the V5 class. In touring cars, his brief TCR World Tour campaign has included a race win, achieved at Barcelona in late 2026.[2]
Park occupies the middle ground of a touring car field that draws from amateur and semi-professional ranks up to established professionals. He has finished ahead of established professional Néstor Girolami, a FIA Gold-graded driver with 76 IMSA starts and 53 TCR World Tour entries, and professional Ben Barnicoat, FIA Platinum-graded and the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech GTDPRO champion, though each meeting came once. The strength of his touring car performance remains unclear from so small a sample, but his ability to win races against this calibre of opposition marks him as more than a full-season regular in the endurance paddock.
