🇧🇴 Rodrigo Gutierrez

Rodrigo Gutierrez is a retired racing driver from Bolivia who competed in single-seater feeder series between 2020 and 2022. His Racer Rating of 2,766 places him in the competitive amateur band; this level describes drivers who are quick and race on a real competition licence, but typically run mid-to-back of the field against professionals and do not sustain wins. Gutierrez accumulated 34 starts across US Formula 4 and Formula Regional Americas, finishing on average in ninth place. His only podium came in his debut series, US F4, where he scored one third-place finish across 22 starts with DC Autosport in 2020 and 2021. His move to Formula Regional Americas in 2022 yielded no points finishes across 12 rounds.[1]

Gutierrez's head-to-head records against his most frequent rivals show the calibre of field he occupied. He finished ahead of Hayden Bowlsbey (a competitive amateur) in 11 of 19 shared races, a winning record, and ahead of Viktor Andersson (also competitive amateur) in 10 of 14. Against stronger drivers, he struggled consistently. Nico Christodoulou, a semi-professional, beat him in 18 of 22 races. Jason Alder and Nick Persing, both professional-level competitors, dominated their shared races; Gutierrez finished ahead of Persing only once in 13 encounters. He finished ahead of several significantly stronger drivers exactly once each: Noel Leon (an elite professional and Euroformula Open champion), Bijoy Garg (a professional with a Silver grading), Raoul Hyman (a professional with Gold grading and 2022 Formula Regional Americas champion), and Bryson Morris (a professional). These isolated results reflect the depth of field rather than a pattern of competitive strength.
