Alex Morton is a semi-professional racing driver whose indexed career consists of a single season in US F4, a national solo racing championship that fields drivers ranging from amateurs to graded professionals in the same races. He started nine times in 2020 and finished 25th in the season standings.[1]
Against the entry-level professionals who made up much of his regular competition, Morton typically finished behind them. He raced against Spike Kohlbecker, who has since competed across multiple national series, and Varun Choksey, a Silver-graded driver with substantial experience in Porsche and GT racing. On two occasions Morton finished ahead of more established competitors: he beat Kyffin Simpson, an established professional and 2021 Formula Regional Americas champion, and Bijoy Garg, a professional driver and 2023 IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge P3 champion. His racing on record ended in 2020.[2]
