🇰🇿 Shota Abkhazava

Shota Abkhazava is an entry-level professional racing driver competing in multiclass endurance and sprint championships in Lamborghini Super Trofeo machinery. Bronze-graded under the FIA's sportscar scale, he races for ART Line in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series, where he shares a Huracán Super Trofeo in the LBCup and ProAm classes. His current campaign spans the GT Winter Series, where he drives a Huracán in the CUP 4 class, and the World Final, competing against fields that mix amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers across multiple classes on each grid.[1]

Abkhazava has taken 12 podiums from 23 starts across his indexed career between 2010 and the present, with four wins distributed across Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, the GT Winter Series and the World Final. His strongest recent form has come in the GT Winter Series, where he has finished on the podium in five of six starts and won once; in Super Trofeo Europe, he has three podiums from eight starts with two wins. His record in the World Final stands at three podiums and one win from five appearances.[2]

He races regularly against entry-level professionals closely matched to his own level, including Milos Pavlovic, a Gold-graded driver with significant experience in Formula V8 3.5 and multiple campaigns across both the Europe series and GT Winter Series, and Alessio Ruffini, a Bronze-graded regular across the same championships. In multiclass grids that field professionals of higher standing, Abkhazava has finished ahead of Blake McDonald, a professional who has raced the Asian Le Mans Series and GT World Challenge America, twice; he has also beaten Yelmer Buurman, a Platinum-graded professional and 2021 British GT champion, once across their shared racing.
