Chris van der Drift is a professional endurance driver racing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Pro-Am class for VSR, piloting a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo. He holds FIA Gold grading, the full-professional classification for sportscar and endurance racing. His current indexed career spans from 2006 to the present across seven seasons of racing.[1]

Van der Drift won the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Pro-Am championship in 2026, taking seven wins and eight podiums across eight starts in the season. He has also raced the Asian Le Mans Series for Absolute Racing and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final for VSR, taking two podiums in four World Final starts. Earlier in his career he competed in Formula Renault Eurocup in 2006, where he took two wins and five podiums for JD Motorsport, a team that won that championship. He then raced Formula V8 3.5 from 2009 to 2011 for Mofaz Racing, accumulating two podiums across 21 starts.[2]

In the Lamborghini Super Trofeo fields where van der Drift competes regularly, he has proven himself consistently ahead of Brendon Hartley, a Platinum-graded established professional and three-time world champion in endurance racing. Against Bertrand Baguette, a Platinum-graded established professional and dual champion in Formula V8 3.5 and Super GT, van der Drift typically finishes behind him. In Formula V8 3.5 he once finished ahead of Daniel Ricciardo, the Formula 1 driver and 2010 series champion, and finished ahead of Edoardo Mortara, an elite professional with Formula E and European single-seater credentials, on nine occasions across their shared races.
