🇬🇧 Kelvin Burt

Kelvin Burt was a professional racing driver who competed in single-seater and endurance motorsport between 1992 and 2003. His indexed career centres on Formula 3 Macau, where he made nine starts for West Surrey Racing, and the FIA GT Championship, where he contested eleven rounds for Team Maranello Concessionaires. Team Maranello Concessionaires, the primary outfit in his GT campaign, fielded seven drivers across the indexed record and took no race wins, with Jamie Davies its strongest entry.[1]

Burt took five podiums across both series combined, all of them in Formula 3 Macau. His FIA GT Championship tenure yielded no podium finishes; across ten rounds in 2003 he finished twenty-ninth in the championship standings. In the shared-car endurance format, where a driver's results reflect their co-drivers' pace and reliability as much as their own, his record reads lower than his single-seater pace suggests. His most productive work came in the amateur-to-professional mixed grid of Formula 3 Macau, where he accumulated all five of his podium finishes across three seasons.[2]

The grid in both series mixed semi-professional and amateur drivers with graded professionals. In Macau, Burt proved closely matched with Philipp Peter, a regular opponent who raced at professional level across both championships, and finished ahead of Ralf Schumacher and Dario Franchitti, both established professionals with substantial careers in Formula 1 and IndyCar respectively, on three occasions each.
