Taylor Hacquard is an entry-level professional who raced single-seaters in the Star Mazda Championship between 2007 and 2009. He drove for Kester Racing and World Speed Motorsports across 21 starts over three seasons in the national American series.[1]
Hacquard finished 20th in the championship standings in 2009, his final season of racing on record. His results against the regular field were mixed; he typically finished behind Alex Ardoin, a professional with 41 Star Mazda starts, but regularly ahead of Christopher Cumming, a professional with 28 Star Mazda starts who went on to race in IMSA WeatherTech and the World Endurance Championship. Hacquard recorded two finishes ahead of Conor Daly, who would win the 2010 Star Mazda Championship and later race IndyCar, and one finish ahead of Dane Cameron, who won the 2007 Star Mazda Championship and became a multi-time IMSA champion.[2]
