Thad Moffitt is an entry-level professional racing in national single-class stock car championships in the United States. He has spent nine seasons in the indexed record, primarily in the ARCA Menards Series for Safety Kleen, with additional starts in the NASCAR Truck Series, Trans-Am TA2, and the ARCA regional championships. He races ovals predominantly, with occasional road and street course entries; most of his 95 starts have come on oval tracks.[1]

Across his nine seasons from 2017 to 2025, Moffitt has taken five podiums, three of them in the ARCA Menards Series and one each in ARCA Menards West and Trans-Am TA2. His most recent indexed activity was 2023, when he finished ninth in the Trans-Am TA2 championship standings after taking one podium in twelve rounds. His NASCAR Truck Series campaign spanned 2022 to 2024 with 21 starts, nearly all on ovals.[2]

In the ARCA Menards Series, his most frequent series, Moffitt typically finishes behind Bret Holmes, the 2020 ARCA Menards Series champion, though he has regularly beaten Brad Smith, a competitive amateur. He has beaten Corey Heim, now the 2025 NASCAR Truck champion, five times across their meetings in ARCA and NASCAR competition.
