Adrian Amstutz is a retired professional sportscar endurance driver who raced GT3 cars in multiclass and single-class championships across Europe. Graded FIA Bronze, he competed primarily for Barwell Motorsport between 2017 and 2022, sharing his car with co-drivers in races that ranged from international 24-hour events to season-long endurance series.[1]
Amstutz made nine starts in the 24H Series across six seasons, taking one win and four additional podiums in shared-driver competition. He contested eight rounds of GT World Challenge Europe between 2019 and 2021, finishing 42nd in the 2021 championship standings. His five podiums came entirely from the 24H Series, where he proved capable of climbing the field in the longer format. He finished ahead of established professionals including Maro Engel, a multiple GT World Challenge Europe race winner and FIA Platinum-graded driver, and Matt Campbell, a WEC LMGTE Am champion.[2]
In the regular field he encountered most often, Amstutz typically finished behind both Engel and fellow Bronze-graded professional Hubert Haupt, a driver with substantial experience across three endurance championships. Barwell Motorsport, an established team fielding multiple drivers across its campaign, centred Amstutz in a supporting role within a larger operation that included higher-graded professionals such as Sandy Mitchell.
