Dennis Strandberg is a Swedish racing driver with a brief career record in British touring cars. He made three starts in the 2017 BTCC season driving for Team Parker Racing with Maximum Motorsport, competing against some of the championship's strongest regulars. His finishing average across those three races was just outside the points at P20.7, and he did not score a podium finish.[1]
Within that limited sample, Strandberg showed occasional competitiveness against the field's upper tier. He finished ahead of Josh Cook, an FIA Silver graded professional, on two occasions; Cook is among the strongest drivers in the BTCC and far outranks Strandberg in overall standing. Strandberg also recorded single finishes ahead of other professional-grade rivals including Aiden Moffat and FIA Silver drivers Chris Smiley and Michael Epps. However, he consistently ran behind the championship's elite in the form of four-time champion Ash Sutton, champion Colin Turkington, and champion Gordon Shedden, finishing behind each of them in all three races they shared.[2]
Strandberg's career on the British Touring Car Championship record is one season only, with no wins or podiums across his three rounds. His Racer Rating of 2,624 places him among amateur and semi-professional club-level drivers. He has since retired from racing; a 2022 headline indicated a planned return to Scandinavian touring cars with a family team, but no racing record follows that date.
