DJ Fitzpatrick is a semi-professional racing in a national multiclass sprint championship. He races for Rumcastle LLC in NASA, competing across three classes: the CMC class in American pony cars, and the GTS2 and GTS3 classes in German touring cars, mostly BMWs and Porsches. He has also made one shared-car appearance in IMSA Pilot Challenge, racing a TCR touring car in 2018.[1]
Fitzpatrick has won three NASA championships across his 11 seasons on record, taking titles in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Over 74 NASA starts he has scored 34 wins and 42 podiums. In 2026, his current season, he sits 17th in the championship standings after two rounds raced so far.[2]
Among his regular opponents, Fitzpatrick typically finishes ahead of Jeff Emanuelson, a 2010 NASA GTS2 champion, and runs closely matched with Jim Khoury, the 2011 GTS2 champion. He has beaten Mikey Taylor, the 2024 IMSA Pilot Challenge TCR champion and an entry-level professional, once across their meetings, and has finished ahead of Tyler Kicera, an entry-level professional with Trans-Am TA2 experience, twice. Fitzpatrick's recent move into the GTS3 class represents a shift from his years of dominance in the Spec3 field.
