🇦🇹 Dominik Baumann

Dominik Baumann is a professional endurance racing driver, FIA Gold-graded, who spent his career in multiclass and single-class GT racing across Europe and North America. He raced primarily for Al Manar Racing by GetSpeed in GT World Challenge Europe between 2020 and 2024, sharing a GT3 car in a field mixing amateurs through to graded professionals. Over twelve seasons from 2012 to 2024 he accumulated 78 starts across six series, with eight wins and fourteen podiums.[1]

His record centred on European endurance racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he took two wins and seven podiums across nine seasons with Mercedes-AMG Team HRT AutoArenA. In North America he won twice in IMSA WeatherTech with P1 Motorsports and once in the IMSA Pilot Challenge with Winward Racing. He won twice in 24H Series multiclass endurance racing and once in the Le Mans Cup. Among the strongest drivers he faced were Edoardo Mortara, an elite professional and 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series champion, whom he beat twice; and António Félix da Costa, a Formula E and WEC LMP2 champion, also beaten twice. His regular opponents in GT World Challenge Europe were Maro Engel and Luca Stolz, both FIA Platinum established professionals, against whom he typically finished behind.[2]
