Javier Gonzalez is an entry-level professional who raced single-seater and karting championships between 2013 and 2018. He contested Italian F4 for Jenzer Motorsport in 2018, a single-class series mixing amateur and professional drivers, and made three appearances in the SKUSA SuperNationals across four seasons, racing in its Rotax Junior, TaG Junior and S2 Semi-Pro Stock Moto classes.[1]
Gonzalez scored two podiums from 17 starts across his indexed career. His Italian F4 season yielded one podium in 14 rounds; he took a second podium in the SuperNationals. Most of his regular competition came against Olli Caldwell, an established professional and Formula 2 driver, against whom Gonzalez typically finished behind. He was more competitive against Marzio Moretti, a professional with experience in Italian F4 and European GT racing, usually finishing ahead of him. Gonzalez has a single indexed finish ahead of stronger drivers; he beat Rinus VeeKay, a Pro Mazda champion who has raced IndyCar, once during his career.[2]
