Nattapong Horthongkum was an entry-level professional racing in Super GT, Japan's domestic multiclass endurance championship. He competed in the GT300 class, which fields FIA GT3 machinery and Japanese-built GT300 specials, driving for Arto Ping An Team Thailand across four seasons from 2017 to 2020. His 26 starts yielded one podium finish.[1]
Horthongkum raced consistently against established professionals throughout his Super GT career. He regularly encountered Nobuteru Taniguchi and Tatsuya Kataoka, both three-time GT300 champions and FIA Silver-graded drivers with over 140 Super GT starts each; he finished behind them in the majority of their meetings. His single podium came in a field that mixed amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals, and he finished 27th in the 2020 championship standings in what proved to be his final season.[2]
