Jörg Weidinger is a semi-professional endurance racer competing in national German multiclass championships. He drives for Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and Nürburgring 24 Hours, racing shared-driver cars across multiple classes including BMW one-make Cup 5 machinery, GT4 cars, and alternative-fuel AT3 machinery. His racing spans 15 years on record from 2011 to the present.[1]
Weidinger took the 2014 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie championship with Team Scheid-Partl Motorsport. Across the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie proper he has accumulated five wins and sixteen podiums from 39 starts over a full season-by-season span from 2011 through 2025. His sole podium in the Nürburgring 24 Hours came across six starts between 2019 and 2025. He is currently competing in the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours with rounds still to come.[2]
Weidinger races consistently against entry-level professionals graded FIA Bronze. He is closely matched with Heiko Eichenberg, a three-time Langstrecken-Serie champion across multiple classes who has become a regular opponent after 123 starts in that series, and with Norbert Fischer, a three-time V5 class champion in the same championship who has raced there 92 times. He has also finished ahead of established professionals including Frederic Vervisch, a FIA Gold driver with 76 World Touring Car Cup starts and significant GT World Challenge Europe racing, and Stef Dusseldorp, another FIA Gold professional, though these remain isolated results rather than patterns in shared racing.
