Kevin Toledo was an entry-level professional racing in the Star Mazda Championship, a single-class national series mixing amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals. He raced for Linares Racing and Eliseo THL Motorsports across three seasons from 2008 to 2010, accumulating 16 starts.[1]
Toledo finished 17th in the Star Mazda Championship standings in 2010, his final season. Throughout his career he typically finished behind regular opponents Rusty Mitchell, a professional with experience in IMSA WeatherTech and Indy NXT, and Caio Lara, a full-season Star Mazda regular. He twice finished ahead of Connor De Phillippi, who would go on to win the GT World Challenge America Pro championship and race extensively in IMSA WeatherTech, and twice ahead of Conor Daly, the 2010 Star Mazda Champion who later raced 133 IndyCar rounds.[2]
