Lucas Groeneveld is an entry-level professional, FIA Silver graded, competing in single-class and multiclass sportscar racing. He raced for Team GP Elite in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, a single-driver sprint series run on Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, across six seasons from 2019 to 2023, and also contested the 24H Series, a multiclass endurance championship in which he shared a car with teammates in either the 992-PRO or GT3 classes.[1]
Across 30 starts, Groeneveld took two wins and three podiums, both victories coming in the 24H Series' longer races where he shared driving duties. In the Supercup, where he made 26 starts, he finished 20th in the 2023 championship standings and typically ran outside the podium positions. His regular opponents included Larry ten Voorde, the three-time Supercup champion and established Gold-graded professional, whom Groeneveld beat twice across their meetings, and the semi-professional Roar Lindland, whom he outpaced with regularity.[2]
