Lucas Wolf is a professional-level German racing driver competing in single-seat Formula 3 championships and endurance racing. He raced for URD Rennsport across the FIA Formula 3 European and Formula 3 Euro Series in 2012 and 2013, and returned to racing in 2025 in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup with PTEoperatedby Manthey, driving a shared car in the AM-S class. He holds an FIA Bronze grading, placing him among amateur and semi-professional drivers in sportscar racing.[1]
Wolf took three podium finishes across his indexed career: two in the Formula 3 Euro Series and FIA Formula 3 European combined during his 2012โ2013 campaign, and one in endurance racing in 2025. In the Formula 3 championships, he raced a mixed field of amateurs and graded professionals; among the stronger drivers he faced were Pascal Wehrlein, the 2012 Formula 3 Euro Series champion and later a Formula E title-holder, whom Wolf finished ahead of twice, and Carlos Sainz, beaten on ten occasions across their races together.[2]
In the Formula 3 series where he accumulated most of his racing, Wolf typically finished behind established professionals such as Tom Blomqvist and Felix Rosenqvist, both of whom have gone on to compete at higher levels; Rosenqvist won the FIA Formula 3 European championship in 2015. His endurance entry in 2025 marked his first race in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup and resulted in a podium finish.
