Ludovic Badey is a French entry-level professional driver graded FIA Silver, racing in multiclass endurance competition. He raced LMP2 prototypes in the World Endurance Championship for Thiriet By Tds Racing across four starts between 2012 and 2015, and earlier competed in single-seater racing in the Formula Renault Eurocup for Graff Racing and Tech 1 Racing.[1]
His indexed record spans eleven years and ten starts. He took a podium finish in WEC endurance racing, his sole top-three result across both series. His most recent activity came in the 2015 WEC season, where he finished 26th in the championship standings.[2]
In Formula Renault Eurocup, Badey raced against a mixed field of amateurs and established professionals including drivers graded FIA Gold and Platinum. He finished ahead of Davide Valsecchi, a 2012 GP2 champion and Platinum-graded professional, and Rene Rast, a three-time DTM champion and Platinum-graded professional, in their single meeting. In WEC, he was closely matched with Julien Canal and Franck Mailleux, both established professionals; Canal later became a two-time WEC LMP2 champion.
