Marc Warren is an entry-level professional racing in the British GT Championship, a multiclass national endurance series in which each car is shared between two or more drivers. Graded FIA Bronze, he races for Optimum Motorsport in the GT3 and GT4 classes, competing against a field that spans amateur and semi-professional entrants up to graded professionals in the same race.[1]
Warren won the 2025 British GT Championship after his first two seasons in the series, taking 7 wins across 21 starts and finishing on the podium in 12 of those races. His current campaign in 2026 is still in progress; after three rounds, he has taken one podium so far.[2]
Among his regular opponents in British GT are two entry-level professionals, Steven Lake and Ian Duggan, whom Warren typically finishes ahead of. He has also beaten established professionals racing at a considerably higher level: Ben Green, who competes across GT World Challenge Europe and ADAC GT Masters, and Ben Barnicolet, the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech GTDPRO champion, each once in their meetings.
