Michele Faccin is a retired Italian professional racing driver. He competed in single-seater sprint racing, making his sole indexed season in the Formula Renault Eurocup in 2008 with Jenzer Motorsport.[1]
Faccin contested the full fourteen-round 2008 Formula Renault Eurocup season and finished ninth in the championship standings. The field mixed amateurs with established and elite professionals; he raced regularly against Pรฅl Varhaug, a professional with prior GP2 and GP3 Series experience, and finished closely matched with him across the season. He also encountered Daniel Ricciardo, an elite professional then competing in his final Formula Renault Eurocup campaign before progressing to GP2 and eventually Formula 1; Faccin finished ahead of Ricciardo twice. He similarly beat Antรณnio Fรฉlix da Costa, an established professional and future Formula E and WEC champion, on two occasions.[2]
