Abdulali is a semi-professional racing in the SCCA's national multiclass road-racing championships. His indexed record spans three seasons from 2022 to 2024 across SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, where he competed primarily in SM and STL classes, driving spec Mazda MX-5s and production-based tuner cars. He retired after 2023.[1]
Over 41 starts across both championships, Abdulali took 10 wins and 17 podiums. His record split heavily toward SCCA Regionals, where he won 9 of those races and finished on the podium in 14 of 19 starts. In SCCA Majors, he took a single win and two additional podiums over 22 attempts. His most recent season, 2023, saw him score four podium finishes across six SCCA Regionals rounds, though he finished 59th in the regional championship standings.[2]
In a field mixing amateurs with semi-professional and graded-professional entrants, Abdulali raced regularly against club-level competitors and typically finished ahead of them. He beat professional drivers on occasion; he finished ahead of Sam Craven, a GT4 America Pro-Am champion, twice, and upended Tyler Gonzalez, a professional and FIA Silver-graded driver with extensive IMSA and national series experience, once across their meetings in SCCA Majors.
