🇬🇧 Stephen Jelley

Stephen Jelley is an entry-level professional racing driver, graded FIA Gold, competing primarily in the British Touring Car Championship for One Motorsport. He races solo in single-class championships; his current campaign is in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB for XQS Team Parker Racing, where he has taken two podiums from ten rounds so far and sits eighth in the championship.[1]

Jelley's BTCC career spans nine seasons from 2017 to 2025, accumulating 225 starts with two wins and nine podiums. He has also contested the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, taking two podiums in ten rounds of the 2026 season still in progress. Earlier in his career he made brief forays into Formula 3, starting five times in the Macau championship between 2005 and 2007 and twice in the Formula 3 Euro Series in 2005, and one endurance start in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2011.[2]

Jelley's BTCC record places him consistently in the company of graded professionals and established champions. He races regularly against Ash Sutton and Tom Ingram, both three-time BTCC champions and Gold-graded drivers with over 300 BTCC starts apiece, typically finishing behind them. In his Formula 3 Euro Series appearances, he finished ahead of Sebastian Vettel once and Nico Hülkenberg twice; both have since become elite professionals and multiple-time Formula 1 champions, though those meetings came early in their careers before their development to that level.
