Zack Barfield is a competitive amateur racer in SCCA Regionals and Majors, a pair of national multiclass sprint championships run in the United States where 25 classes of solo-driven cars share the track in single races. He races the SM class, which runs spec 1990-2005 Mazda MX-5 Miatas. His indexed racing career spans two seasons, 2022 and 2023, after which he retired from competition.[1]
Across SCCA Regionals and Majors, Barfield made 36 starts and took three wins and ten podiums. He was most active in SCCA Regionals, where he scored all three of his wins and nine podiums from 22 entries, and less frequently appeared in SCCA Majors, recording one podium from 14 starts.
