GT World Challenge America is an endurance GT3 racing series founded in 1990, now managed by SRO Motorsports Group. It runs three driver classes separated by professional standing: a Pro class of Silver and Gold drivers; a Pro-Am class mixing Bronze, Silver and Gold drivers; and an Am class of Bronze amateurs. The field is established professional, stronger than the feeder series it draws from including the 24H Series and IMSA Pilot Challenge, but measurably weaker than IMSA WeatherTech, to which top drivers progress. Drivers like George Kurtz and Connor De Phillippi represent the series' strongest tier.
