Brandon Wagner is a professional driver from Lafayette, Indiana who raced in Indy NXT, a national single-seater championship mixing amateur and professional entrants. He competed for Davey Hamilton Racing across three seasons from 2010 to 2012, making twelve starts.[1]
Wagner took one win and one additional podium finish across his career. He was closely matched with Gustavo Yacaman, an established professional who went on to race in IMSA WeatherTech and the World Endurance Championship, but typically finished behind Stefan Wilson, a FIA Silver driver who later competed in IndyCar. Among his victories was a win over Josef Newgarden, who would become a two-time IndyCar champion, and over Esteban Guerrieri, the 2012 Indy NXT champion and later FIA World Touring Car Cup titleholder. In 2012, his final season, Wagner finished 20th in the championship standings across one round raced.[2]
