Christophe Cresp was an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance championships, primarily in LMP3 prototypes with shared-driver cars. He raced for MV2S Racing across the Le Mans Cup, Road to Le Mans, and European Le Mans Series between 2020 and 2024, and made occasional appearances in the 24H Series and World Endurance Championship. He holds an FIA Bronze rating, the amateur grade in endurance racing.[1]
Cresp took 33 starts across seven seasons from 2017 to 2024. His sole victory came in Road to Le Mans, and he recorded three podium finishes across all series. His most extensive campaign was in the Le Mans Cup, where he made 16 starts for MV2S Racing, followed by eight starts in Road to Le Mans. His only World Endurance Championship appearance was in 2022, where he finished 20th in the championship standings. Earlier in his career he raced in the 24H Series in 2017 and 2018, taking a podium in the latter year.[2]
He was a regular fixture against established amateurs and semi-professionals in these fields. Against Anthony Wells, a Bronze-graded regular with extensive experience across the same series, Cresp was closely matched. Colin Noble, an entry-level professional graded Gold, finished ahead of him more often than not across their meetings. Cresp finished ahead of Alexander Mattschull, the 2022 Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion, three times over their careers, and once ahead of Malthe Jakobsen, an established professional and multiple Asian Le Mans Series champion. His Road to Le Mans victory came in 2024 with Maximus Mayer.
