David Droux is a professional racing driver competing in international prototype endurance racing. A Swiss racer holding the FIA Gold grade, he races LMP3 prototypes primarily for CLX Motorsport across the Le Mans Cup, Road to Le Mans, and European Le Mans Series, where fields mix amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals in multiclass competition.[1]

Droux won the 2024 Le Mans Cup LMP3 championship with CLX Motorsport after accumulating four wins and fifteen podiums across 48 starts from 2020 onwards. His Le Mans Cup record shows three wins from 21 starts, supplemented by one victory in Road to Le Mans and consistent podium finishes in the Prototype Winter Series, where he took seven podium positions across eight rounds in 2025. His single World Endurance Championship start came in 2022; he also competed in the European Le Mans Series across two seasons beginning in 2021, when the field included both amateurs and established professionals.[2]

Droux races regularly against entry-level and professional opposition. Colin Noble, an entry-level professional with similar experience across the Le Mans Cup and Road to Le Mans, meets Droux on equal terms. Anthony Wells, a professional racer competing in the same series, finishes behind him consistently. Droux has finished ahead of Tom Dillmann, an established professional and former 2022 Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion, and of Nicklas Nielsen, a Platinum-graded driver and 2021 WEC LMGTE Am title holder, though these instances came once each across their respective meetings. CLX Motorsport, his primary team, has won 27 races across the index and fields drivers ranging from amateurs to established professionals including Charles Milesi.
